We know that framing and hanging artwork can be a daunting task. To help you get started and create a wall of art you are happy with we have included some simple tricks to help design your gallery wall. The first thing to do is to work out what is the best size artwork to suit your wall.

You can do this by pasting up some newspaper on your walls in different shapes and layouts. Using the newspaper means that you can organise the positioning easier. Use newspaper or coloured paper with Blutac to mimic or help decide on the best size for your space. It's light weight and it is easy to move around to work out what looks best. Whether it be the height or the spacing between pictures.

There are plenty of examples online to help layout a gallery wall. YOU can stick to a theme eg City Prints, or mix and match from various styles and artists. We have included some layout ideas here (based on Printspace art sizes) to get you thinking about your own walls and home.

Layouts are based on a ceiling height of 2.3m and frames are to scale.
